Two Decades of Manufacturing Excellence: Building a Quality-Driven Competitive Edge Across a Full Product Portfolio
What does 20 years mean in the disposable hygiene products industry? It means witnessing China’s maternal and infant market evolve from rapid expansion to refined, high-quality development. It means experiencing adult incontinence care rise from a niche segment to a cornerstone of the “silver economy.” And it means building a presence from the ground up in the emerging pet care sector. Over two decades, we have grown our portfolio from baby diapers to encompass adult pull-up pants, adult diapers, nursing pads, pet care pads, and training pads—each expansion reflecting our proactive response to shifting market demands and our unwavering commitment to quality as our core competitive advantage.

I. Starting with Baby Diapers: The Foundation of Two Decades of Expertise
Twenty years ago, China’s disposable hygiene market was just taking shape. Consumer expectations for baby diapers centered on basic absorbency and leakage protection. We entered the field with a clear strategy—introducing automated production lines and cleanroom manufacturing facilities to establish a strong foothold in the absorbent hygiene sector.
Early diaper designs were relatively simple, relying on imported super-absorbent polymers (SAP) and fluff pulp. As the domestic supply chain matured, we progressively localized key raw materials—including topsheet non-wovens, acquisition/distribution layers, composite absorbent cores, air-laid paper, absorbent tissue, and breathable PE backsheets—while implementing a rigorous traceability system for all incoming materials. In product design, we pioneered structural innovations such as 3D leak guards, elastic waistbands, and triple-channel distribution grooves, significantly improving both leakage protection and wearing comfort.
Today, our baby diaper line holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FDA, CE, and SGS certifications, and is exported to Southeast Asia, Russia, South Korea, the Middle East, and beyond. We also serve as a trusted OEM/ODM partner for numerous international brands.
II. Expanding into Adult Care: Capturing the “Silver Economy” Opportunity
With China’s population aging rapidly, the adult incontinence market has entered a phase of explosive growth. Recognizing this trend early, we adapted our absorbent core technology from baby diapers to develop three adult care categories: pull-up pants, diapers, and underpads.
Developing adult pull-up pants presents unique challenges. The primary users—elderly individuals with limited mobility or post-surgical patients—require superior breathability, softness, and reliable leak protection. We use highly breathable non-woven topsheets and ultra-thin composite cores, significantly reducing product thickness while maintaining high absorbency to enhance comfort during extended wear. For severe incontinence, our adult diapers incorporate higher SAP content and optimized distribution layers to ensure rapid fluid intake and prevent re-wetting. Our underpads, widely used in hospitals, nursing homes, and home care settings, feature a waterproof PE backsheet and soft top layer to effectively protect bedding.
Throughout this expansion, we have reinforced a core belief: disposable hygiene products are, fundamentally, safety products in direct contact with the body. Any raw material defect or manufacturing lapse can compromise skin health. Consequently, we enforce internal quality standards that exceed industry norms, with multiple microbiological and physical performance checkpoints from raw material receipt to finished goods dispatch.
III. Adapting to GB 15979—2024: A New Benchmark for Hygiene Standards
In July 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation released the mandatory national standard Hygienic Standard for Disposable Sanitary Products (GB 15979—2024), replacing the 2002 version. The new standard imposes stricter requirements on microbiological indicators, raw material specifications, production environment hygiene, and labeling, while also explicitly including emerging categories such as disposable underwear.
For us, this presents both a challenge and an opportunity. The challenge lies in the heightened requirements for production cleanliness, raw material safety, and microbial limits—standards that may force some smaller players out of the market. The opportunity lies in the fact that our high-standard production system, maintained for two decades, already aligns with—and in many cases exceeds—the new requirements.
Take microbial control. GB 15979—2024 sets strict limits on total bacterial count, fungal count, coliforms, and pathogenic bacteria. Our workshops have long operated under Class 100,000 cleanroom standards, equipped with air purification systems and personnel air showers. Raw materials undergo disinfection before entering production, and finished products are subject to microbial spot checks prior to packaging. These investments, made well before the new standard was issued, give us a clear first-mover advantage.
In response to the new standard’s raw material hygiene requirements, we have further optimized our supplier management system with a dual-control mechanism—batch testing plus annual audits—for core materials including SAP, fluff pulp, non-wovens, and hot-melt adhesives. We have also extended the same hygiene standards to our pet care product lines, because we believe safety should never be compromised, regardless of category.
IV. Preparing for GB/T 45369-2025: Leading in Odor-Elimination Performance
Beyond hygiene and safety, odor control has emerged as a key differentiator in the disposable hygiene industry. Whether addressing odor concerns with adult diapers or pet training pads, consumer demand for “odor-free” products is growing rapidly.
In February 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation released GB/T 45369-2025, Absorbent Sanitary Paper Products and Raw Materials—Evaluation Methods for Odor-Elimination Performance, effective September 1, 2025. The standard specifies four evaluation methods—detector tube, gas detector, LC-MS/MS, and GC-MS—covering finished products (baby diapers, adult diapers, sanitary napkins, pet pads, paper cat litter, etc.) and raw materials (SAP, fluff pulp, topsheets, composite cores, ADL, absorbent tissue, air-laid paper, etc.).
The introduction of this standard establishes a unified, quantifiable framework for evaluating deodorization, ending the era of unsubstantiated claims. We initiated R&D on odor-elimination technology well before the standard’s release, incorporating neutralizing agents into adult pull-up pants and pet pads, and working with suppliers to develop composite cores with built-in deodorizing properties. Immediately following the standard’s announcement, we introduced GC-MS testing capabilities to quantitatively measure the removal rates of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and methyl mercaptan—ensuring our products deliver data-backed, compliant deodorizing performance.

V. A Quality “Moat” Built on Systematic Capabilities
Looking back over our 20-year journey, our competitive edge is not defined by a single breakthrough technology or product. It is the outcome of systematic manufacturing capabilities spanning multiple categories:
-
Raw Materials: Comprehensive supplier management and testing systems covering SAP, fluff pulp, non-wovens, ADL, composite cores, air-laid paper, PE films, and hot-melt adhesives;
-
Manufacturing Processes: Proven production expertise across baby, adult, and pet care categories, supported by multiple automated lines and a mature process-parameter database;
-
